Prohibited Content:
INRL allows you to post photos and written information to the site in the form of comments and forum topics. You are fully responsible for all the content that you post to INRL. The following items are prohibited:

Data mining of this site is strictly prohibited. Under no circumstances can you use this site to harvest or collect user information, photos, blogs or any other content posted on this site either electronically or by other means.
User Conduct:
You agree not to use this site in any unlawful manner. You are solely responsible for any content you post to this site, including photos, videos, articles, blogs, posts, and other media content. You are also responsible for any interactions and disputes you have with other users of the site. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to moderate disputes between users of the site.
Privacy Policy:
The privacy policy covers all of Israel Neuroscience Research Link (INRL). It does not, however, apply to entities that INRL does not own or control, such as external websites linked through INRL. By using or accessing INRL, you agree to our privacy practices outlined here.
No Information From Children Under Age 13:
If you are under age 13, please do not attempt to register for INRL or provide any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Personal Information:
At INRL, we place great importance on user privacy. When you sign up for INRL you are required to provide us with your name, age, email, professional affiliation (institution, department, position), primary field of specialization, and the city and country where you reside. During the registration process we give you the opportunity to provide additional profile information, such as secondary and additional fields of specialization, a short description of your work, gender, country of birth, and your interest in IRL. In some cases we may ask for additional information for security reasons or to provide specific services to you. Once you register you can visit your profile at any time to add or remove this additional information about yourself. Your email address is used by INRL only to send you forgotten passwords, alert you when a member has sent you a relationship request, notify you of new private messages or updates to any website posts that you are watching, send you a monthly newsletter, notify you of any significant system changes, or to send you any new updates to INRL. We do not send any personal information, including email addresses, about individual users to any third parties.
Information you store in your profile is considered public and is visible to all INRL members when logged-in, except for fields specifically marked as private. Public information may be subject to indexing by third party search engines and may be associated with you outside of INRL (such as when you visit other sites on the internet). However, private fields such as your email address, gender, age, country of birth, and interest in INRL are never displayed in your profile for others to see. Your information is not shared to any third parties by INRL.
Exporting Information:
You (and INRL members you make your information available to) may use tools like RSS feeds, the Share button, or copy and paste functions, to capture and export information from INRL, including your information and information about you. It is prohibited to export information from another member's profile without their express written consent.
Site Activity Information:
We keep track of the actions you take on INRL, such as requesting a member relationship, choosing to watch a page for updates, commenting on a post, inviting colleagues to the site through the INRL invitation tool, and other member features/tools.
Cookies & Advertisements:
This site does use cookies to allow users to automatically sign on to the site from the same computer. We do not store any personal information in the cookie and only use it to allow single sign on capability. In the future we may use our cookie technology to store user preferences and track site navigation.
We may in the future use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, age, gender, or email) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.
Site Spam:
Although we work very hard to try to eliminate or reduce the amount of spam on this site, some always finds its way onto the site. Please be aware of any messages or content that appear malicious. Be careful of any links to external sites, users asking for personal information, or anything else suspicious on the site. If you find content that looks to be spam, please let us know ASAP.
External Links:
INRL features links to many external websites whose Privacy Policy may be different than ours. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy statements.
Information Sharing:
We use the information we collect to provide our services and features to you, to measure and improve those services and features, and to provide you with customer support. We use the information to prevent potentially illegal activities. We also use a variety of technological systems to detect and address anomalous activity and screen content to prevent abuse such as spam. These efforts may on occasion result in a temporary or permanent suspension or termination of some functions for some users.
When you invite a colleague to join using the INRL invitation tool, we will send your colleague an email with your email address inserted into the from field. When you request a member relationship, or send a member a private message, we will send your colleague a message on your behalf using only your username.
We may disclose information pursuant to subpoenas, court orders, or other requests (including criminal and civil matters) if we have a good faith belief that the response is required by law. This may include respecting requests from jurisdictions outside of the United States where we have a good faith belief that the response is required by law under the local laws in that jurisdiction, apply to users from that jurisdiction, and are consistent with generally accepted international standards. We may also share information when we have a good faith belief it is necessary to prevent fraud or other illegal activity, to prevent imminent bodily harm, or to protect ourselves and you from people violating our Terms of Service. This may include sharing information with other companies, lawyers, courts or other government entities.
Risks Inherent In Sharing Information:
Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other users with whom you share your information. We cannot guarantee that only authorized persons will view your information. We cannot ensure that information you share on INRL will not become publicly available. We are not responsible for third party circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures on INRL. You can reduce these risks by using common sense security practices such as choosing a strong password and using up to date antivirus software.

We may change this Privacy Policy at some time in the future. Unless stated otherwise, our current privacy policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy we will notify you by publication here and upon your next attempt to login to INRL.
